Enrolment Commitment

  • Full-Term Commitment: Upon accepting an enrolment offer, you commit to the full term for each course.

  • Non-Refundable Enrolment Fee: A one-off enrolment fee applies and is non-refundable.

  • Automatic Re-Enrolment: Unless you notify Matrix before the end of the current term, your child will be automatically enrolled for the next term, and fees will be charged accordingly.

Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: Fees are automatically charged to your nominated Visa or Mastercard (debit or credit).

  • Payment Schedule: Payments are deducted on the 8th of the relevant month, based on your selected payment plan. Please refer to Course Payment Options & Dates for more information on this.

  • Late Payments: Interest on unpaid amounts may be charged at 10% per annum.

  • Declined Transactions: Matrix may attempt to charge your nominated card several times if declined. A late fee may apply.

  • Debt Recovery: If a payment fails, Matrix will retry the recharge and get in touch with you to resolve the issue. If the outstanding fees remain unpaid after multiple attempts, the matter may be referred to a debt collection agency. Any additional recovery costs will be your responsibility.

Class Changes and Absences

  • Class Changes: You may request a class change once per term, subject to availability.

  • Missed Lessons: No credit or refund is offered for missed lessons due to illness, leave, or any other reason. However, students may be given access to lesson videos and one-to-one Workshops to help catch up on missed content.

  • Rescheduled Lessons: If a lesson is postponed due to unforeseen events (e.g., teacher illness, natural disaster), it will be rescheduled or a substitute teacher may take the class. No credit or refund will be provided in such cases.

Student Conduct

  • Behaviour Expectations: Students are expected to behave respectfully towards peers and staff at all times.

  • Disciplinary Actions: Matrix reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment at its discretion.

  • Property Damage: You will be liable for costs incurred by your child intentionally damaging Matrix property.

Academic Resources

  • Usage Restrictions: Matrix Academic Resources are provided exclusively for the student's use and cannot be reproduced, shared, or sold.

  • Lost or Missing Resources: If resources are lost or missing, you may request a replacement at Matrix's discretion. A fee will apply if the replacement is issued.

Personal Information

  • Use of Information: Personal information provided at enrolment may be used for student administration, surveys, promotional campaigns, and ensuring a safe environment.

  • Disclosure: Information may be disclosed to third parties if required or authorised by law, with your consent, or if deemed appropriate by Matrix for the student's education, health, care, welfare, or development.
