Homework at Matrix is designed to help students review and consolidate what they’ve learned in class. While it is a key part of the learning program for high school students, homework for primary students is optional.
Primary Students (Year 3–6)
Homework is optional and provided to reinforce lesson content.
Short question sets are available at the end of each lesson.
These can be completed online via the Matrix LMS and reviewed until the end of the academic year.
Junior Students (Year 7-10)
English:
Homework must be submitted weekly via the Matrix LMS under 'Assignments'.
Marked homework will be returned the following week.
Maths and Science:
Complete weekly homework in the Matrix Workbook provided on the first day.
Bring the attempted homework to the next lesson for marking.
Senior Students (Year 11-12)
English:
Submit weekly homework via the Matrix LMS under 'Assignments'.
Feedback will be provided by the following lesson.
Maths and Science:
Complete homework in the Matrix Workbook.
Present the workbook in each lesson for the teacher to check completion.
