Do We Offer Make-Up Classes?

Matrix does not offer make-up classes for missed lessons. Instead, we provide structured support to help students catch up and continue learning without falling behind.

What happens if my child misses a class?

If your child is absent from a lesson, we recommend marking their absence in advance through the Matrix Parent Portal.

Once the absence is recorded, your child will automatically receive access to a video recording of the lesson. This allows them to:

  • Review the full class content in their own time

  • Stay aligned with the class syllabus

  • Pause and replay parts of the lesson as needed

How to access the video lesson

Video recordings are available through the Matrix LMS (Learning Management System):

  1. Log in with the student’s Matrix account

  2. Select the relevant course

  3. Click the Video Lesson for the missed week

These videos are available until the end of the enrolled academic year, so students can revisit lessons at any time.

Need extra help catching up?

If your child has questions after watching the video, they’re welcome to attend a 1-1 Workshop for additional support.

In these sessions, students can:

  • Ask questions about the missed lesson

  • Clarify concepts they didn’t understand

  • Work through practice questions with a teacher
