Information on Topic Test for Matrix+ Term 1 2024

At the end of Term 1, Topic tests will be available to complete online. Once students have completed work for Lesson 8, they are able to test their knowledge under the Lesson 9 module on the content covered during the term.

Below you'll find further details on each faculty:

English

Year 7 - 11

All English students can find their English Topic Test in Lesson 9 via the LMS, and are asked to submit their completed Topic Test via the LMS for marking.

Students have up until Sunday 17 December to submit their Topic Test for feedback and marking. If you miss the end-of-term deadline and submit your topic test in the following term, it will be marked by the end of the marking period for that term.

Science

Year 7 - 10

Junior Science students will complete their Topic Test online (similar to their weekly quizzes) and the test can be found on the LMS under Lesson 9. The Topic Test will then be marked by a tutor.

Once submitted, short sample answers will be available for each question. These will provide insights on how they performed in the test. Students will receive feedback within 1 week.

Students have up until Sunday 17 December to submit their Topic Test for feedback and marking. If you miss the end-of-term deadline and submit your topic test in the following term, it will be marked by the end of the marking period for that term.

Year 11 - 12

Senior Science students will be provided with the Topic Test via a PDF online. Students should attempt under exam conditions and detailed solutions will be available online for students to self-mark.

Maths

Year 7 - 12

Maths Topic Test will be available for students to view questions online and attempt on a printable booklet (Located in the ‘Topic Test Instruction and Submission’ Page under the Topic Test Lesson). Once completed, students are asked to scan the booklet (Refer to the guidelines in the ‘Topic Test Submission Scanning Instructions’ Page) and upload a single PDF on the LMS for marking.

Every student is allowed one submission. Files submitted in the incorrect format will not be accepted and will not be marked.
